Professional profile:

After initially gaining a masters degree in psychology at Cambridge University, Louise worked for a number of years as strategic change consultant for a major City institution. She then returned to psychology and gained Chartered Counselling Psychologist status at Roehampton University. She has training and experience in cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic and systemic approaches and undertakes both short-term and long-term work with patients. Although not currently working in the NHS Louise has several years of experience working in GP practices, and currently has private practices in Wokingham and Reading. She has special interests in anxiety and impulse control disorders, relationship difficulties and the effects of childhood abuse. She also runs a psycho-educational group on self esteem at the Clinic.
