Dr Lalitha de Silva trained in General Psychiatry in London (Charing Cross and St Georges Hospitals). She held an NHS Consultant post in Berkshire working in acute psychiatry and in Eating Disorders. She set up a comprehensive specialist Eating Disorders Service for Berkshire and was a Clinical Director for the trust for 5 years.
